A New Yorker in Exile

A self exiled New Yorker left to explore the world on his own... okay left to explore the world with some help from a few friends... but they aren't New Yorkers. My latest pursuits: home brewing, discrete mathematics, correspondence chess, wine tasting, house cleaning, dog walking, writing more (hence why I'm updating this blog again) and the usual hey what can the world teach me today.

Where am I

Explanation

Okay, so I have been absent... Why, you ask... well I have been traveling, relaxing, and recovering from a very long and tough year. Just think, if you started to take care of your teenage sister, worked a job that had irregular (and keep in mind very long) hours, and went to school part time, you would need a break too. Don't get me wrong, this is not an excuse-- but an explanation. I know my southern girl-- friend has gotten on my case and is threatening my life if I don't get off my ass and make a post. So wahla.

Location

Since my last post this New Yorker was not far from home at all and loved every New York minute. Although many interesting things happened and life was grand for a very short week and two days I didn't see the need to complain about anything or express observations about non-New Yorkers. Shortly after returning back from New York I worked my last two weeks at my current duty station and went to L.A. After L.A. I finished my Systems Analyisis and Design class, and traveled again to the east coast yet again to visit friends.

Expectation

So where does this leave us? I intend to discuss and explore my various experiences from the past two months and continue to wish that I was back in the greatest city of all. So until then, start spreading the news, this New Yorker is back.

Well...it's about damn time.
And New Yorkers say that Southerners are slow.
Accent and Atitude aside I must admit that it was well worth the wait. Welcome Back!
